From an ancestral divinity to a contemporary Ibiza icon

BES TSHIRTS was created at YATÚ STUDIO as a clothing brand designed to transform one of Ibiza’s oldest and most singular symbols into a contemporary visual language.

The project started from a clear premise: to build a brand deeply connected to the island, but far from the predictable codes of the tourist souvenir. The goal was to position it closer to fashion, design and Mediterranean culture.

Bes was an ancient protective divinity whose presence became especially relevant in Ibiza through the Phoenician-Punic cultural universe. This connection turns Bes into much more than an archaeological reference: it becomes a symbol of protection, vitality, music, celebration and Mediterranean identity.

YATÚ STUDIO developed the concept, logo, graphic language and textile applications, creating a visual system with personality, cultural depth and a contemporary attitude. BES TSHIRTS turns local heritage into a wearable brand experience.
